General President

RevLebelo.pngRev. Sehlako Gordon Lebelo, General President of the International Assemblies of God, has served in this position since 2013. Prior to this current position, he served as General Secretary (2005-2013), Secretary of the Gauteng District (2002-2005) and Director of the Youth Ministry.

Lebelo was brought up in a Christian family. His parents were ministers and founder members of the International Assemblies of God. They served for many years as tutors at the All Africa School of Theology in Witbank. Through their influence, their son at a very early age was involved in various missions’ outreach throughout the country. As a university student and a leader in the Hospital Christian Fellowship (HCF), he was involved in numerous Gospel outreach programmes in Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana and Malawi. He graduated from the Medical University of Southern Africa (MEDUNSA) and Rand Afrikaans University (RAU). He also had the privilege of doing Management Development Programme (MDP) and post-graduate rehabilitation counselling course in the USA.

In 2000, he resigned from his senior position at one of the leading cooperates in SA to be a pastor of Adonai Assembly in Soshanguve till this day. In his heavy schedule as the General President of IAG, he still manages to conduct leadership training, marriage enrichment seminars and counselling sessions for individuals and groups.

He is married to Elizabeth Azwhifheli Girlie and they are blessed with three sons. The family resides in Montana Park, Pretoria.


Assistant General President


Rev. KonkobeRev. Elvey Joseph Kgaogelo Konkobe was born and bred in Pietersburg (Polokwane).  Grew up in the International Assemblies of God.  Got saved in 1978 and responded to God’s call for the ministry in 1982.  He trained at Southern African School of Theology between 1982 and 1984.   Started ministry at Seshego, his and local assembly, serving under the leadership of Rev. T. Maphori. He later served Soshanguve and  Mphanama assemblies and presently serves at  Bethel Assembly, Mabopane.

He is married to his lovely wife Catherine and they are blessed with three wonderful daughters namely: Tebogo, Katlego and Neo.

He is divinely charged with the responsibility of assisting the national General President of the International Assemblies of God.

 

 


General Secretary
Rev. Peter Solomon,

Rev Peter Francis Solomon, General Secretary of the International Assemblies of God, has served in this position since 2013. He also served as the District President of the IAG KZNN District (2007-2015) and prior to that as the IAG KZNN District Treasurer.

Peter was raised in a Christian home, by parents who were actively involved in the church that they attended. He received the call to ministry when he was 27 years old. In the year 1999 he sold his business and committed himself to full time ministry as the Pastor of Foresthaven Community Church.

He developed a passion for education and counselling and as a result pursued and completed his studies towards a Diploma in Bible/Theology through the International Bible College and later the BA Hons degree in Social and Religious Transformation through the University of KwaZulu Natal.

His ministry includes his involvement as Dean of Students (International Bible College), Campus Director (Global School of Theology) and Secretary (Global Teen Challenge-KwaZulu Natal)

Peter is married to Pam Solomon and has two sons who are married, and blessed with two beautiful grandchildren. He and his wife reside in Phoenix, Durban.


Assistant General Secretary

Rev. Moonsamy

Rev. Lenny Moonsamy was born 24th January 1956. Studied at International Bible College from 1981-1983 and achieved a Diploma in Theology also studied at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and achieved BA Honours in Social Transformation.

He is Assistant General Secretary of the IAG National Office and pastor of a church - Calvary Chapel IAG in Phoenix, Durban.


 

 


 

General Treasurer

Rev. GouwsRev. Manuel Gouws got married in 1981 to Glynis, they have been married for 25 years.  Out of the marriage three children were born.  Melissa 24, Merlin 21, and Monique 10 years old. A grandparent to one grandchild, Kirsten aged 3.

He is the Pastor of a local church, Superintendent of a District and General Treasurer of the International Assemblies of God.  He is also the CEO of two companies.

He was called into ministry in 1993 and completed his Bible School Training in 1995.  He Pastored the local Assembly (Berea Temple) under the supervision of his father Pastor H Gouws from 1997 – 2005.

In the year 2006 he planted a church (Centre of Hope) a ministry focusing on the needs of people.  God is blessing the ministry tremendously and he believes this is what God has called him to do, and that is to offer hope to our hopeless society.
